You won't believe this!

I was at this party on Friday night with my friend K. when this guy came and started talking to me. Everything seemed to be going so well that I gave him my phone number. But as I was typing the phone, I wasn’t thinking and accidentally put my dad’s number in his phone! The next morning my dad woke up to a text saying, “I had a great time with you last night at the party!” I got in soooo much trouble, and that guy thought I deliberately tried to blow him off by giving him my dad's number.” K. laughs at the memory of me typing the wrong number and chuckles everytime I call her for advice. She thinks my story is for a laugh but I want to have the last laugh.
HEEEELP!!!! what can I do? Help or I will be in conflict with my parents for the rest of my school years.

This is one of my favourite paintings. First of all because I am a romantic person, secondly because there is so much symbolism in it.

Flora |
It is called Primavera (Allegory of Spring) and it was painted by Sandro Botticelli in about 1482 that is in Renaissance.
You can see six girls and two boys in an orange grove. To the right of the painting, you can see a woman with a crown of flowers who takes flowers from her dress and scatters them. Next to her is a woman in white who is being seized by a boy with puffed cheeks. This boy is Zephyrus who kidnaps the Nymph Chloris. Later on he marries her and transforms her into the goddess of Spring, Flora who is the girl scattering roses on the ground.
Central and somewhat isolated from the other figures stands a red-draped woman in blue. This is Venus. The trees behind her form a broken arch.

Zephyrus and Chloris Chloris transforms into Flora |
Botanologists have studied the painting and have found out that there are there are 500 identified plant species depicted in the painting, with about 190 different flowers.Out of the 190 different species of flowers depicted, at least 130 have been specifically named.
You can see the painting in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence.

the Graces |
What I like in the painting is how Chloris is transformed into the Goddess of Spring. I like the image of Venus in the middle and the happy and joyful dance of the Graces. Although the painting has darkened during the course of the years I can't help imagining how it must have been when Botticelli painted it. I would like to go to Florence and see it one day.
What do you like on this painting?

The time of my life
On Friday I had the time of my life. My cousin's friend would get married on Sunday and the girl friends would organize a bachelor's party. My cousin, whom I love very much, took me with her.
We went to GAZI in a bar called GAZAKI. There was a nice veranda on the top of it which was full of tables and a bar. All the girls had Margaritas but the barman made some juice for me because I was little. However, my cousin let me try some Margarita which is a very stong coctail full of tequila. I can't say I liked it very much.
The music was very different to the one I am used to, but it was very interesting and I like it. Although all the people were over 25 I didn't feel bad. I danced with the girls and we had such fun. I liked that I listened to something different and I went to a real bar in the centre of Athens. The place was crowded after 12:30. We left at 4:00 and we went for souvlaki. Most girls were drunk and wanted to eat and drink something before they get into their cars.
It was one of the most fantastic times in my life. Being with my cousin and so many grown up girls was awesome.

One of my favourite paintings

This is one of my favourite paintings. It was painted by Diego Velázquez in 1656. The painting is called Las Meninas, the spanish word for The Maids of Honour.
The painting shows a large room in the Madrid palace of King Philip IV of Spain, and presents several figures. ] Some look out of the canvas towards the viewer, while others interact among themselves. The young Infanta Margarita is surrounded by her entourage of maids of honour, chaperone, bodyguard, two dwarfs and a dog. Just behind them, Velázquez portrays himself working at a large canvas. Velázquez looks outwards, probably where the king and the queen stand. In the background there is a mirror that reflects the upper bodies of the king and queen.
what I like in this painting is that it looks as if you stand outside and you look at the scene. Take a look at the painter, the man leaving the room and the king and queen shown on the mirror.
Isn't it different from other paintings?
